Andrew Cohen is the Chairman of the Board and Managing Member of Cohen & Company, Inc. Real Estate, which he founded in 1991. Mr. Cohen is considered a leader in the industry and over the last three decades he has developed the firm into one of the leading real estate brokerage firms specializing in shopping center properties in the U.S. Since inception, brokerage sales have exceeded $5.0 billion, representing over 3.5 million square feet of space and properties located in 39 states. The cornerstone of the firm's success is providing clients with comprehensive brokerage services and the ability to evaluate individual assets and portfolios for both marketing and repositioning assignments, while constantly remaining focused on client needs and goals.

Mr. Cohen is also sole owner and managing member of Cohen Commercial Properties, LLC and Cohen Asset Advisory Company, LLC, the acquisition and leasing/property management divisions. The investment portfolio of Cohen Commercial Properties and its affiliates consists of over 15 shopping center properties encompassing two million square feet of commercial properties in eleven states and the District of Columbia. Cohen Asset Advisory manages the Cohen-owned properties in the northeast region and portions of the Midwest.

In order to accommodate the expanding shopping center investment portfolio, in 2002 Mr. Cohen started American Commercial Realty, a Florida-based property management office located in Palm Beach Gardens. This office manages the properties located in the southeast United States and to provide leasing, management and construction management services to Cohen-owned properties in the region. By 2005, the firm opened two additional offices in Plantation, Florida and Miami, Florida.

Mr. Cohen is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Real Estate Board of New York, and has been active for years in various charitable endeavors. In 2007, he founded the Andrew J. Cohen Family Foundation, a charitable trust, to continue those efforts. He is a sportsman and avid runner having completed the 2003 New York City Marathon, the 2007 Half Marathon, and receiving a Bronze medal in the 2007 Empire State Games 10K event. Additionally, he enjoys cycling, bi-athalons and has hiked and skied in some of the most majestic locations in the world.

Mr. Cohen is married with a daughter and a son for whom he has coached various sports. Mr. Cohen and his family reside in Bedford, NY, and have residences in Manhattan and Miami, Florida.
