Michael Cleeman joined the investment sales group of the Cohen & Company, Inc. Real Estate in 2002. Mr. Cleeman focuses on representing both buyers and sellers in commercial investment transactions, and has a specialty in existing income producing properties located throughout Florida and the Southeast. After numerous successful transactions, he was promoted to the level of Managing Director in 2005. In 2007 he was promoted to Senior Managing Director.

Mr. Cleeman's recent transactions include the arranging for the purchase and sale of five grocery anchored retail centers throughout Florida, including the cities of West Palm Beach, Jacksonville, Orange Park, Dade City and Titusville. Anchor tenants at these centers included several Publix, Kash n' Karry and Winn Dixie stores, as well as several other national credit tenants.

Mr. Cleeman brings a wealth of business experience to every transaction including: deal valuation, transaction management, negotiation and financial analysis skills. He is frequently solicited for his real estate valuation expertise for properties located in the Florida and Southeast markets.

A native of New York City, Mr. Cleeman holds an MBA in Finance from NYU's Leonard N. Stern Graduate School of Business. He holds a real estate broker's license, a mortgage broker's license, and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
