Vera Thomas joined Cohen & Company, Inc. Real Estate in 1997 as Senior Managing Director. She has over 25 years of experience in investment sales and in the sale and acquisition of retail, commercial and office properties throughout the United States, with an expertise in retail properties.

Ms. Thomas has been responsible for the sale of hundreds of shopping centers and other commercial properties. She prides herself in successful, long-term relationships with her clients that include both private investors and public companies.

Ms. Thomas is a member of the International Conference of Shopping Centers, and has been a member of the Real Estate Board of New York. Ms. Thomas has been featured in Real Estate Weekly and other retail publications for her abilities as a real estate broker and her transactions. Previously, Ms. Thomas was the owner of American Skyline, a real estate brokerage company which specialized in the sale of commercial properties in the tri-state area that included retail, office and residential properties.

Ms. Thomas is a graduate of Barnard College and has an M.A. in Art History. She is married with two children.
