Cory Stewart, CPA, MST

Someone who loves to learn, Cory is always searching for new and better ways to operate. Whether it’s creating new efficiencies through technology or helping younger professionals develop skills to deliver valuable client experiences, Cory is passionate about continuous improvement. 

Cory began his public accounting career in 2007 and has been dedicated to serving registered and unregistered investment companies. He works with domestic and international equity funds; multi-adviser structured funds; master-feeder funds; currency funds; exchange-traded funds (ETFs); REIT funds; and commodity funds, including those investing with a controlled foreign corporation structure and Cayman Islands registered funds. 

While the majority of his career has been dedicated to investment company assurance, Cory’s love of learning and his deep passion for the investment management industry led him to undertake a multi-year rotation in the tax arena. Cory’s deep understanding of the issues affecting funds from both an audit and tax perspective, in areas such as complex derivatives, foreign investment structures, mergers and liquidations, fund elections and more, enables him to serve as a prudent and versatile leader of engagement teams.

Cory lives in in Lititz, Pennsylvania, with his wife and their three children. While most of Cory’s free time entails chasing after his kids and keeping up with their activities, he’s also passionate about life-long learning. Cory is always on the hunt for a great new read or podcast.
