Pargat Singh, a senior manager at the firm, has been recognized on the 2026 Crain’s Detroit Business list of Notable Leaders in Accounting, Consulting & Law. The award recognizes the top professionals across Michigan for the accomplishments, mentorship and growth to which they’ve contributed in the region.
Pargat is a leader in the firm’s tax compliance and advisory services for real estate developers, funds and REITs that manage individual portfolios totaling over $100 million in assets. He also leads the firm’s tax compliance services for tax-exempt entities. As a team manager, Pargat supports and mentors employees in their career growth and development, and has been instrumental in improving firm efficiencies. Most recently, he played an integral role in expanding the firm’s global footprint. His involvement includes training new offshore staff, serving as a liaison between offshore teams and U.S. leadership, and helping broadly integrate global resources into the firm’s service model. Pargat also plays an active role in developing talent pipelines through firm recruitment efforts at colleges and universities across Southeast Michigan. In addition, he is active in business development initiatives and collaboration across service teams. Pargat is a member of the Michigan Association of CPAs and American Institute of CPAs, and serves as an active volunteer in the firm’s Cohen Cares program.
