Cohen & Co is pleased to announce Nick Antonopoulos, CPA, has joined the firm’s Chicago office as a managing director in the Assurance Practice.
Widely recognized for his expertise in audit, assurance and financial reporting for the real estate industry, Antonopoulos is particularly known for his deep knowledge regarding the treatment of real estate acquisitions. He has over 30 years of experience, including overseeing the audit, tax and financial reporting service delivery for a global firm’s real estate practice.
At Cohen & Co, Antonopoulos will perform technical and engagement quality control reviews for real estate entities in all sectors, including real estate investment trusts (REITs). He will also be involved in expanding the firm’s real estate fund and REIT assurance services, and training and developing staff members.
Antonopoulos earned his B.S. in accounting from DePaul University.
