Ahmed approaches each engagement with a curious attitude and an open mind. He focuses on communication, teamwork and adaptability to build meaningful partnerships with clients and team members.
Beginning his public accounting career in 2012 at a global firm, Ahmed quickly found his passion in tax services for alternative investment vehicles, specifically private equity funds, hedge funds and fund-of-funds structures. He primarily focuses on partnership tax returns for hedge funds and private equity funds, including complex multi-jurisdictional returns with assets ranging from $2 million to $1 billion. Ahmed has additional experience examining client brokerage and financial statements, preparation and review of K-1s, partner allocations and testing transactions subject to IRS disallowances.
Ahmed lives in Paramus, New Jersey, with his wife and four kids. He loves spending quality time with his family, whether it’s hosting dinner at home, traveling or accompanying his kids to their various activities. Ahmed also enjoys learning other languages, speaking three fluently — French, Zarma and Hausa — and is learning Spanish to add a fourth.
