Claire started her public accounting career in 2018, specializing in the registered funds space with a focus on interval funds, mutual funds and business development companies, assisting them with complex tax compliance issues. Her technical focuses are on registered investment company (RIC) qualification, blocker structuring and tax implications of private investments, both equity and debt. She also has experience with real estate investment trusts (REITs) and cryptocurrency grantor trusts.
Claire lives on the Upper East Side of New York City, New York, with her two cats. She enjoys tennis, theatre, classic literature and traveling. A favorite traveling memory of hers is cage diving with Great White Sharks off the coast of South Africa.
