Dan Sexton, CPA, MS

Dan knows tax planning is vital for business owners to head in the right direction. Focused on helping them year-round, he vigilantly stays on top of clients’ situations to help ensure there are no big tax surprises. In addition, Dan’s outgoing and personable nature means clients get more than what they bargained for from a CPA.

Since beginning his public accounting career in 2005, Dan has advised private companies and their owners on tax compliance, strategy and business operations. He works with clients in the manufacturing and professional services industries, as well as those in private equity, construction/development of commercial and residential real estate, and real estate management. Dan frequently tackles challenging tax situations, aided by his dedication to closely following changes in regulations and laws from agencies, courts and lawmakers.

Dan lives in Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan, with his wife and their two children, who keep him busy and entertained. He’s deeply involved in the kids’ activities and never misses a chance to cheer them on. Dan also enjoys getting outside whenever possible and is a passionate fan of the Detroit sports teams.
