Beginning his public accounting career in 1990, Joe offers a wealth of experience. He spent more than a decade in various real estate development and investment companies across the country, serving in accounting and financial services roles up to and including CFO, before founding and leading his own real estate public accounting and consulting firm for 35 years. Today, Joe draws on the entirety of his deep background and expertise to help real estate owners, developers, managers and investors navigate the complex landscape of real estate accounting and taxation, assisting them in minimizing risk, maximizing profits and achieving growth. He has significant experience in the income tax structuring of real estate acquisitions and dispositions, and he has developed methodologies in the area of financial due diligence for acquiring real estate assets. Clients also appreciate Joe’s unique blend of technical and practical expertise as well as his ability to work seamlessly with both their in-house teams and contractors.

Joe stays active by mountain biking, skiing, golfing, hiking and playing pickle ball. Traveling and spending time with his four grown children and their families are high on his enjoyment list. Hawthorn Woods, Illinois, is where Joe and his wife reside, but they also enjoy spending time away at their vacation home in Boise, Idaho.
