Kyra Songco, CPA, EA

Kyra’s quiet and reserved approach to working with clients affords her the opportunity to remain focused on crucial details. With a wide range of tax experience behind her, she enjoys taking the time to explain complex tax concepts and their implications to clients in ways that better equip them to make informed decisions.

Kyra started in public accounting in 2014 at a global firm and specializes in tax compliance and return preparation. She works on tax returns for a variety of clients in the real estate industry, including S Corporations, trusts, partnerships and business owners. Kyra has additional experience in international tax, particularly foreign information reporting.

Kyra lives in the northern suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. In her free time, she enjoys knitting and crocheting and has made several projects for her family and friends. Kyra is also an avid fan of the fantasy genre, whether it’s the book she’s currently reading or the Dungeons & Dragons campaigns and one-shots she plays with her friends. Kyra relishes her ability to travel, having visited much of Europe when she was living in Switzerland and Germany. She’s looking forward to exploring the U.S. now that she’s back.
