Marc Caito, JD, MBA

Marc’s easygoing yet attentive attitude allows him to excel at teamwork and communication with colleagues and clients of any level. A dedicated and analytical problem solver, clients know if he doesn’t have an answer readily available for them, they can count on him to find it.

Beginning his career in public accounting in 1999 and working primarily for global accounting firms, Marc has focused his entire career on helping clients with state and local tax complexities. He has expertise in state and local tax restructuring projects, state income and franchise tax lookback reviews, state effective tax rates, FIN 48 reserves, and income tax credits and incentives. Having saved clients millions of tax dollars over the years, Marc has experience with clients in the retail, manufacturing, healthcare and consumer service industries. He also assists companies with their state and local tax audits, representing them at the administrative level and assisting with related state and local corporate income tax compliance issues.

Marc lives in Indianapolis, Indiana, with his wife and their two boys. Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf and keeping up with college basketball, college football and every Indiana sports team he can.
