Marissa Holman, CPA, MT

Marissa brings a smile and an infectious positive attitude to everything she does. She prioritizes client service — always responding quickly to emails and phone calls and looking for ways to make engagements more efficient.

Since beginning her career in public accounting in 2016, Marissa has developed expertise in state and local taxation. Specifically, she reviews state and local business tax returns and consults on nexus studies, sales sourcing and state income registrations. Marissa also helps clients stay updated on statewide programs and specific issues, such as the Ohio centralized filing system, responds to state and local tax notices and assists clients with state tax audits. She primarily serves businesses in the private company realm, specifically S Corporations and professional services businesses.

Marissa resides in Akron, Ohio, with her husband and son. She enjoys exploring the Summit County Metro Parks trails, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family — especially her four siblings. Marissa loves to travel, with Estes Park, Colorado, and San Juan, Puerto Rico, making the top of her list to date!
