Miroslav Georgiev, CPA, MST

Miroslav’s passion for working with business owners, outgoing personality and strong work ethic help him develop lifelong relationships and find ways to help clients succeed. In this fast and furious deadline driven world, his ability to make decisions and communicate effectively make him an invaluable part of the client team.

Since entering public accounting in 2013, Miroslav has developed extensive experience advising closely held businesses and private equity-backed portfolio companies on complex tax and transaction matters. Drawing on his background, Miroslav offers practical and strategic insights beyond tax compliance to support operational efficiencies and long-term growth. His areas of technical expertise include ASC 740, opening balance sheet tax analyses, purchase price allocations, and tax support for acquisitions, dispositions and other strategic transactions. In addition, Miroslav advises clients on a wide range of international tax issues, including entity structuring, foreign information reporting, foreign tax credit planning, cross-border financing arrangements, treaty interpretation and U.S. withholding tax requirements. His experience in state and local taxation, tax credits and incentives, transaction advisory services and financial modeling enables him to deliver integrated solutions tailored to each client's unique business objectives.

Miroslav resides in Rochester Hills, Michigan, with his wife and two children. He can typically be found spending time with his family and shuttling his two boys to various activities, such as swimming and ninja class. Miroslav also enjoys traveling as much as possible — some of his favorite destinations include Bulgaria, Mexico and Michigan “Up North.”
