Terri Nietzel, CPA

From the outset, clients know Terri will go above and beyond as their tax adviser. Her outgoing and fun nature means she makes every effort to connect and collaborate with clients to help them find success. While she’s passionate about advising businesses, Terri’s approach is personal — from in-person meetings, to getting to owners and their financial staff personally.

Beginning her public accounting career in 1990, and gaining more than 20 years of experience at a national firm, Terri specializes in partnership tax. She works with real estate, private equity, service, healthcare and technology companies on acquisitions, dispositions, entity restructuring, debt restructuring and partnership/LLC agreements. Terri also advises on the complexities of tax planning and compliance for high-net-worth business owners.

Living in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago, Terri and her husband have three children and two dogs. A true animal and nature lover, Terri enjoys the great outdoors by walking her dogs in various parks, hiking, whitewater rafting, and vacationing in the mountains or at the beach. She’s also participated in the Boston Marathon, passing on her love for athletics to her daughter who swam in the 2021 Paralympics.
