Marissa Weeks, CPA, MAcc

Marissa began her public accounting career in 2020 with a key focus on the investment industry. She specializes in providing assurance services to a broad range of fund types, including exchange-traded, mutual and closed-end funds. Her experience spans both emerging and established strategies — from single start-up funds to complexes with over 150 funds. Marissa also works across a wide spectrum of audit complexity, from domestic and foreign equity or fixed income positions, to hard-to-value portfolios with intricate financial instruments. Her broad exposure and technical proficiency enable her to deliver high-quality assurance services across the investment management company sector.

Marissa lives in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, and enjoys attending local street festivals, trying new restaurants and discovering hole-in-the-wall bookshops. She also loves to travel with friends and family whenever possible. Some of Marissa’s favorite trips have been to Sedona, Arizona; Amsterdam, Netherlands; and Dubrovnik, Croatia.
