Mike Meckstroth, CPA, CGMA

Mike looks to provide value beyond helping clients remain compliant with the applicable laws and regulations. He spends the time necessary to understand clients’ businesses, which can lead to more effective and efficient operations, and ultimately an added benefit to their shareholders/owners.

Mike has focused on the investment company industry since 2004 and primarily works with mutual funds, exchange-traded funds and collective investment trusts. These investment companies use service providers throughout the country with a variety of investment objectives, including investments in complex derivatives and various fixed income strategies. Mike works with funds of all sizes, ranging from new startups to fund families that have more than 40 funds and total net assets exceeding $100 billion. Additionally, he leads the firm’s surprise custody examination practice.

Mike lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with his family of six and enjoys playing and watching sports of all kinds. He is also an avid golfer who has played in several competitive tournaments throughout the Milwaukee area (prior to his third and fourth children being born).
