Sarah Ahnen

Sarah pairs her witty sense of humor and personable nature with a thoughtful, detail-oriented perspective to create successful engagements and relationships. She enjoys solving the unique challenges each project presents and finding practical ways to make the process as efficient as possible, while taking the time to understand each client holistically.

Sarah began her public accounting career in 2020, after transitioning from working at her family’s small business. She now provides advisory services to real estate developers, specializing in construction draw management, working closely with clients to prepare and submit formal requests for funds from capital partners and lenders. Having worked with a wide variety of lenders on projects across the country, Sarah has significant experience navigating diverse draw formats, documentation requirements and funding processes.

Sarah lives in the northwest suburbs of Chicago with her family and their two dogs. When she's not working or chauffeuring her two teenagers, she's happiest outdoors — hiking, fishing or curled up with a good book by the lake. Her family’s favorite getaway is their lakeside cabin in northern Wisconsin, where they take every opportunity to head "Up North" and enjoy the slower pace, fresh air and quality time that comes with it.
