Christi Rovner

Christi’s authenticity as a person and a professional is immediately evident to clients and colleagues. The relationships she forms are genuine and lasting, whether working with service providers over the many years of her career, or mentoring up-and-coming auditors at the firm. 

Christi began her public accounting career in 2006 and provides assurance services for registered investment companies. She has expertise in accounting, audit and financial reporting issues, as well as those affecting international and emerging market funds, including controlled foreign corporations; domestic equity funds, REIT funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), funds of funds, bond funds, hedge funds and multi-class structures. Christi also has experience with various financial instruments and derivatives, including options, futures, option futures and forward currency contracts. Additionally, Christi is knowledgeable in the examination of securities in accordance with Rules 17f-1 and 17f-2 of the Investment Company Act of 1940.

• Actively involved in staff development and mentoring for the firm’s Assurance Practice 

Christi, her husband and their two young sons live in Wilmington, North Carolina. She and her family love to spend time on their boat and enjoy the warm weather year-round.
